WhatsApp Testing Features. :- Since the update regarding WhatsApp’s new policy is in the headlines. The WhatsApp is under the scanner and the government is introducing back-to-back new Made in India apps. As an alternative to the Facebook-owned WhatsApp.

WhatsApp also issued a message on Feb 18, stated “Nothing comes in between you and your privacy”. Towards clearing the doubts of its millions of user worldwide regarding sharing of data.Recently WhatsApp is checking out some new features on the app. To enhance the User interface for its users across the globe.


Let’s look at some of the features testing by WhatsApp:

Joined Missed Call feature: This feature allows user to join a missed group video call, next time when open the app again if the call is still going on and the user by mistake didn’t able to attend it anyway.

Disappearing photos feature: WhatsApp has already introduced disappearing message feature in the last update, now it is working on disappearance of images feature as well, the photos will disappear once the receiver opens it and leave the chat, without taking any prior screenshot.The same feature introduced in Instagram before and currently in app.

Animated Sticker feature: This feature allows user to import custom animated stickers pack. This is the latest update to the already using feature which allows one to use third-party stickers . This is currently available in India, Indonesia and Brazil countries.

Logout feature: Allow users to log out of account directly from the already linked device. Before users need to delete the account or uninstall the app in order to logout from the same.

Available for both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.

Biometric Authentication: The fingerprint lock feature now convert into Biometric lock, there are more ways to open the app like face recognition,etc.Users can choose any method to open the application. The biometric feature is currently under development by the team.

Lets see if the ongoing issue resolves between the government and WhatsApp and how the all new features prove helpful for the users. Hope for the best.
